01OngoingKichha, Uttarakhand

DDU-GKY Residential Training Centre

Our residential centre in Kichha prepares rural youth for careers through DDU-GKY, the Ministry of Rural Development's placement-linked skilling programme. Every trainee begins with a full induction kit — participant handbooks for Solar PV Installer (Suryamitra), English & entrepreneurship and soft skills & IT, plus a tablet, uniform and ID card — and learning continues well beyond the classroom.

MoU signed on 23 September 2026 at the Civil Services Institute, Dehradun, to continue as a Project Implementing Agency under DDU-GKY 2.0.
Monitoring visits by the National Institute of Rural Development & Panchayati Raj and the DDU-GKY State team, Uttarakhand.
An exposure tour to Nainital, a computer lab for IT skills, and World Earth Day 2026 celebrated with a pledge and plantation drive.

DDU-GKY in West Bengal

We have signed an MoU under Deen Dayal Upadhyaya Grameen Kaushalya Yojana at Karigari Bhawan, Kolkata — taking our placement-linked, residential training model to rural youth in West Bengal.

03NewHimachal Pradesh

A new centre in Himachal Pradesh

An MoU with the Himachal Pradesh Kaushal Vikas Nigam (HPKVN), and a new training centre inaugurated in the state — opening the door to skill programmes for Himachal's youth and women.

04NewBhimtal, Nainital, Uttarakhand

Devbhoomi Emporia, Bhimtal

Sponsored by the Office of the Development Commissioner (Handicrafts), Ministry of Textiles, Devbhoomi Emporia in Bhimtal gives Uttarakhand's artisans a permanent showroom — Aipan art, woven textiles, woodcraft and a working loom, under one roof. Its inauguration on 28 December 2025 brought together officials, artisans and our team.

Crafts & artisans

From Aipan painting to hand-knotted carpets, we work with artisan communities across Uttarakhand under the National Handicrafts Development Programme — through Guru–Shishya training, improved toolkits and market showcases that turn skill into income.

Improved Toolkit Distribution Project: our President, Mohd Yameen, handed over toolkits to artisans in Kichha, and in Dharchula for carpets, rugs & durries on 20 December 2025 — in the presence of Shri Pulkit Jain, Development Commissioner (Handicrafts).
Handmade carpets from Pithoragarh's artisans showcased at Sharad Shilpotsav, Delhi Haat.
Our training batches featured by the Handicrafts & Carpet Sector Skill Council, and a working session with the HCSSC team on artisan pathways.

Design & entrepreneurship workshops

In August 2025 we ran a 25-day Design & Technical Development Workshop and Entrepreneurship Development Programmes for carpet, rug and durrie artisans in Dharchula and Ghatdhar — pairing new designs and techniques with the business skills to sell them.

UPSDM batches & brass showcase

With the Uttar Pradesh Skill Development Mission, our batches in Mursaina (Rampur) and Thakurdwara (Moradabad) completed their training in April 2026. Moradabad's famous brass craft then took the spotlight at the International Trade Show in Noida, where Alphine was the partner on the district's handicraft stall.

Suryamitra solar technicians

Suryamitra is the National Institute of Solar Energy's programme for solar technicians. We have run batches at Vilasrao Deshmukh College of Engineering & Technology in Mauda, Nagpur, under PMKVY (2023); at our branch in Shivgyan Degree College; in Baheri, Bareilly; and at our Kichha centre, including a women's batch (2025) — with practicals on live rooftop installations.

Tailoring centres for women

With the Maharashtra State Skill Development Society, we set up the Alphine Welfare Society Skill Center on Jalgaon Road, Aurangabad — a tailoring lab where women learned to cut, stitch and finish garments — and ran batches in Dhule district, where the District Commissioner delivered a guest lecture to our trainees.
